If you are interested in purchasing a Bullmastiff, be sure to do your homework to ensure that a Bullmastiff is the right breed for you, and that the puppy or dog you purchase comes from a reputable breeder.

Download an information packet published by the American Bullmastiff Association: Important Information for Bullmastiff Owners.

Consider adopting a Bullmastiff from Rescue. The American Bullmastiff Association's Rescue Service's mission is to find homes for unwanted Bullmastiffs that come from shelters or are owner surrenders from people whose lifestyle or financial situation has changed.

PNBF's objectives are:

To act in the best interests of the breed and the sport of purebred dogs.

To do all that is possible to bring the qualities of purebred Bullmastiffs to perfection.

To urge members, breeders, fanciers, and judges to accept the American Bullmastiff Association Inc. standard of Excellence for the breed, as approved by The American Kennel Club, Inc., as the only standard by which the breed is judged within the United States of America.

To educate members, fanciers, and judges regarding the Standard and the breed.

To promote fellowship, goodwill, and sportsmanship among members.

To conduct matches and specialties, obedience and agility practices/trails under the rules of The American Kennel Club and American Bullmastiff Association Inc. (ABA).

To provide education about the Bullmastiff and the selection process for new puppies whether show or pet to members or non-members requesting assistance.

To provide support to Bullmastiff owners whether members or non-members when their breeder or breeders have become unavailable for assistance.

All members that breed, will remain in contact with puppies/purchasers that they sell for support and advise of the purchaser. All members that breed, will be responsible for all puppies that they sell for the life of the bullmastiff. If any bullmastiff bred or owned by a member is turned over to rescue, the member will be responsible for assisting in the financial and placement of that bullmastiff.

To follow Robert's Rules of Order and the Constitution/by -laws set up by this club for conducting any and all business as related to this club or purebred dogs.

To proceed toward becoming an American Kennel Club Sanctioned Club.
